Dr. Chandler has served as Chief Operating Officer of Gene Biotherapeutics since July 2019 and previously served as Vice President, Product Development of Gene Biotherapeutics, and its subsidiary, Activation Therapeutics (2006-2019). Dr. Chandler is the inventor of the FDA-cleared Excellagen wound care product, developed by Activation Therapeutics. Dr. Chandler received a B.S. in Chemistry from Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Southern California.
